Sunday Ayodabo

I teach in the Department of English at Elizade University, where he also conducts research on the intersection of gender, sexuality, and culture in literary and media expressions. I have also published articles both in local and international outlets in the areas of children’s literature, trauma, and cultural studies. I am currently working on several works, including a study of hegemonic masculinity in children’s narratives in Nigeria; masculine identities and power blocs in African cinema; and hegemonic masculinity and sexual objectification in popular Nigerian hip-hop music.
